Qatar condemns attempt to target Saudi oil facilities with drones: a blatant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law
The State of Qatar strongly condemned the attacks that attempted to target petroleum facilities in the Eastern Region and the Riyadh Region of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, using drones launched from Iraqi territory.
In a statement issued today, Monday, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and an infringement on its territorial integrity, as well as a flagrant breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.
The Ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all lawful measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
