'Introducing Islam': 649 new converts in the second quarter of 2026
Al-Kharafi: 63 Da’is and Da’iyas Led the Committee’s Efforts Inside and Outside Kuwait
The Da’wah Education Committee, affiliated with the Al-Najah Charity Association, announced that it achieved significant da’wah and educational milestones during the second quarter of 2026. These achievements included registering 649 conversions to Islam inside and outside Kuwait, alongside implementing specialized programs to educate new Muslims and strengthening its presence in electronic da’wah.
Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Jarallah Al-Kharafi, Chairman of the Committee’s Board of Trustees, stated that the Committee recorded 649 conversions to Islam during the second quarter, with 583 cases occurring inside Kuwait among non-Arab expatriate communities and 66 cases outside Kuwait.

He clarified that this achievement was realized by the grace of God, followed by the efforts of 63 da’is and da’iyas from various nationalities and languages, and with the support of philanthropists who contributed to sponsoring the da’is and sustaining their da’wah mission.
He added that the Committee continued its focus on qualifying new Muslims, organizing 223 courses, including 70 introductory courses, 60 Sharia courses, 83 Quranic courses, and 10 Arabic language courses. These courses benefited new Muslims, members of Muslim expatriate communities, as well as some non-Muslims.
Al-Kharafi pointed to the Committee’s continued expansion in electronic da’wah, noting that it conducted 5,310 electronic dialogues with Islam seekers from around the world.
He noted that the Committee’s Quran Radio websites recorded 24 million listening minutes in more than 200 countries and regions, while the Electronic Islamic Library received approximately 600,000 visits during the same period.
Regarding the dissemination of da’wah content, he explained that the Committee distributed 14,835 booklets and pamphlets, 3,416 books, 3,387 da’wah kits for non-Muslims, and 12,185 educational kits for new Muslims, in addition to 2,196 translations of the meanings of the Holy Quran in various languages, supporting the learning journey after guidance.
Al-Kharafi concluded by thanking supporters and donors for their backing of the Committee’s da’wah, educational, and community projects, calling on philanthropists to continue their support, which will help sustain the Committee’s mission and extend its reach to more non-Arabic speakers.
