"Al-Mumtazin Foundation": Quranic programs accompany women from childhood to Quranic graduation
The Women’s Department Delivers a Comprehensive Educational System Through In-Person and Online Projects for Various Age Groups
Dr. Daria Al-Masoud, Director of the Women’s Affairs Department at Al-Mutamayizin Foundation, emphasized that the Department’s presence in recent years has not been limited to organizing programs or seasonal activities, but has instead focused on building a comprehensive educational system grounded in the Quran. This system responds to the educational needs of women across all life stages, from childhood to mastering the Holy Quran and specializing in its sciences.
Al-Masoud explained that this approach aligns with the Foundation’s vision, which prioritizes creating impact. It is driven by the conviction that the value of initiatives is not measured by their quantity, but by their ability to bring about real and sustainable change in the lives of beneficiaries, and to produce role models imbued with knowledge and values whose impact extends to families and society.

She added that the Department designed its programs to meet the needs of each demographic segment, while maintaining a common thread: strengthening the connection to the Book of Allah, consolidating values, developing personality, and preparing a generation equipped with knowledge, awareness, and a sense of responsibility.
Projects and Achievements
Al-Masoud stated that the "Creative Child Academy" project represents the first milestone in this educational journey. It combines Quranic education in memorization and recitation, instilling Islamic values, and introducing youth to the principles and basics of the Arabic language. Additionally, it develops children’s personal and creative skills in an environment that caters to their needs and lays the foundation for a balanced personality from their early years.
She noted that as girls transition to university or professional life, the Department ensured the provision of a different educational space through the "Ratl" project. This initiative offers distance learning and provides a Quranic environment suitable for university students and working women, helping them continue memorization, reflection, and the study of Quranic sciences in a manner compatible with their daily commitments, thereby making the connection to the Book of Allah an integral part of their lifestyle.
She further explained that the "Dima" project offers a similar concept but differs in its organizational and administrative structure. It targets older women and relies on in-person education to help them master Quranic recitation and memorization, reinforce Islamic values, raise religious and intellectual awareness, develop social skills, enhance the proficiency of memorizers, and prepare them to obtain certification (Ijazah).
She clarified that the "Khatma" project serves as a continuation of this progression, opening opportunities for those seeking to obtain the chain of transmission (Sanad) and certification in the Holy Quran. It features a specialized scientific program aimed at preparing proficient memorizers who will carry this legacy from generation to generation.
On the ground, the "Raihanat" project continues its presence through Quranic circles distributed across various governorates of Kuwait. These circles welcome female students from primary, intermediate, and secondary stages, thereby expanding the scope of benefit and bringing Quranic education closer to families in different regions.
The Department also organizes review sessions throughout the year for participants in the Kuwait Grand Quran Memorization Competition, aiming to enhance proficiency levels and prepare participants in a scientific and methodical manner.
Al-Masoud highlighted that modern technologies have been present within this system through electronic circles. These have provided women in Kuwait and abroad who wish to memorize the Quran and learn recitation rules with the opportunity to join programs remotely, thereby enhancing learning flexibility and broadening the Foundation’s reach.
Accompanying these projects, the Department has organized educational, cultural, and recreational programs that contribute to the development of beneficiaries’ personalities, enhance their skills, and consolidate values of initiative, teamwork, and belonging. This approach achieves a balance between scientific and educational development.
The women’s administration continues to fulfill its mission as a vital pillar of the Mutamayezin Foundation’s journey and as one of the active departments in achieving its social and national objectives, through investing in human capital, nurturing excellence, and creating a lasting impact on individuals, families, and society.
