Saudi Arabia condemns drone attacks and affirms its right to respond to the aggressor

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed, today, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strongest condemnation of the attacks it suffered, denouncing the drone strikes launched by Iran-backed militias in Iraq.

In a statement, the ministry said that while reaffirming the Kingdom’s resolve to safeguard its security and sovereignty, deter aggressors, and exercise its right to respond to the sources of aggression, it stressed the necessity for the Iraqi government to take all required measures to ensure that its territory is not used as a launching pad for aggression.
