Extraordinary Sensory Perception

Extraordinary Sensory Perception

Dialogues

The term extrasensory perception (ESP) refers to a specific type of exceptional sensory and cognitive abilities that appear extraordinary, which some individuals acquire innately, through heredity, or through learning.

These extraordinary abilities manifest as telepathy, predicting events, and sometimes reading other people’s thoughts, in ways that surpass the natural capacities of human senses. Currently, there is significant debate within the field of psychology regarding the credibility and reliability of these extraordinary abilities. Nevertheless, based on what I believe may lead to acquiring and effectively using the skill of extrasensory perception in daily life, I mention the following:

- Developing and strengthening the subconscious mind: A large part of extrasensory perception ability stems from the accumulation in the subconscious mind of life information and previous behaviors produced by personal experiences and unique experiences, added to an increased trust in the messages of one’s subconscious mind, especially in heeding its warning messages about potential dangers one might face. The more the subconscious mind grows and strengthens, the more the power of extrasensory perception grows, strengthens, and develops.

- Learning the skill of reading body language: The platform from which extrasensory perception originates is the individual’s ability to read the body language of others and what it reveals about their true personalities. Since the strength of extrasensory perception relies on having an adequate amount of basic information related to human body language, personal behaviors, and expected actions, both skills complement each other.

- Objective thinking instead of emotional thinking: Extrasensory perception relies on the individual’s continuous use of objective thinking (rational and critical) in interpreting what is happening around them in their daily life. One should always reject emotional thinking toward any matter requiring objective thinking, especially when it comes to identifying the true intentions and goals of others, which appear in their “spontaneous” reactions and behaviors.

- Intensive reading in psychology: According to my personal experience, the more one reads in psychology, especially the latest scientific discoveries, the clearer the secrets of human minds become, and the stronger one’s focus and observation of others’ behaviors in the external world become, thereby strengthening the skill of extrasensory perception.
