Minister of Finance Sets Prices for Tender Documents and Appeal Fees

Finance Minister Dr. Yaqoub Al-Sayed Yousef Al-Rafai issued a ministerial decision specifying the prices for selling tender and restricted tender documents, as well as the fees for appeals against the Procurement Unit or the Procurement Committee of the Central Tenders Board.

The decision set the fees for services related to the sale of tender and restricted tender documents provided by the Central Tenders Board at 10 dinars if the estimated value is less than 2,000 dinars, 20 dinars if the estimated value ranges from 2,000 to 5,000 dinars, 30 dinars if it ranges from 5,000 to 30,000 dinars, and 50 dinars if the estimated value ranges from 30,000 to 75,000 dinars.

It also set the fees for appeals against the Procurement Unit or the Procurement Committee of the Central Tenders Board at 250 dinars for prequalification-related appeals, and 125 dinars for appeals concerning participation in restricted tenders (“adding a company’s name to a restricted tender”).

It further set a fee of 500 dinars for appeals related to restricted tender procedures, based on the estimated values of each tender (“between 5,000 and up to 30,000 dinars”), while the fee increases to 1,000 dinars if the estimated value of the tender ranges from 30,000 to up to 75,000 dinars.
