'Kuwait Finance House' Wins 'Best Investment Bank in Kuwait - Debt Markets'

As part of the 2026 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, recognizing its strong track record in deal execution and regional presence, KAMCO Invest, a leading non-bank regional financial institution and one of the most active investment banking firms in the region, announced that it has been awarded “Best Investment Bank in Kuwait – Debt Capital Markets” in the 2026 Euromoney Awards for Excellence. This marks the second consecutive year the firm has received this honor, further solidifying KAMCO Invest’s position as a leading player in Kuwait’s and the region’s debt capital markets.

KAMCO Invest was selected following a rigorous evaluation process by Euromoney, which included a detailed review of the firm’s achievements, deal history, and contributions to local and regional debt capital markets, followed by an in-depth interview with the Euromoney judging panel.

14 Investment Deals

The award highlights KAMCO Invest’s strong performance in 2025, during which its debt capital markets team led and executed 14 deals with a total value of $7.0 billion. These transactions included 13 sukuk and bond issuances totaling $6.7 billion for financial institutions and corporations in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, as well as a $304 million liquidity management deal for a Kuwaiti company. The team also served as joint lead manager on six bond issuances totaling $2.9 billion and seven sukuk issuances totaling $3.8 billion. In Kuwait, KAMCO Invest participated in seven issuances for leading Kuwaiti banks, amounting to $3.3 billion, including two Kuwaiti dinar-denominated issues and five US dollar-denominated issues. Regionally, the team managed three deals in the UAE worth $1.5 billion, two deals in Saudi Arabia totaling $1.4 billion, and one deal in Qatar valued at $500 million.

Development of Debt Markets

Since its inception, Kamco Invest’s Investment Banking team has managed deals with a total value exceeding $48.3 billion. This includes $11.1 billion in equity capital markets deals that the company managed or co-managed, $27.2 billion in Islamic and conventional debt capital markets deals, and $10.0 billion in mergers and acquisitions transactions, as of March 31, 2026.
