Egypt condemns the reprehensible Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan: a blatant violation of sovereignty and a threat to regional security

- Affirmed full solidarity with the three countries and called for an end to the attacks, urging the Security Council to act

Egypt, on Friday, strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, describing them as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of states, a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region, and a violation of the provisions of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, and its full support for all measures they are taking to safeguard their security and stability, and to protect their sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The statement reiterated Egypt’s firm rejection of attacks on civilian facilities and vital infrastructure, as well as any actions that could threaten the safety of civilians or undermine regional security and stability.
