Bahrain: Interception and destruction of several treacherous Iranian aerial attacks

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The General Command clarified that the air defense systems of the Bahrain Defense Force, with strong resolve and high combat readiness, successfully countered a number of treacherous Iranian aerial attacks on Friday, intercepting and destroying them.

The General Command affirmed that all its weapons and units are at the highest levels of readiness and fully prepared defensively to protect the Kingdom. It also urged everyone to exercise caution, avoid approaching any foreign or suspicious objects resulting from the remnants of the Iranian attack, and report them immediately.

It noted that the Royal Field Engineering Unit is fully prepared to safely handle those objects technically, ensuring the public safety of citizens and residents.

The General Command stressed that the deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
