Kuwait condemns the incursion of crowds of settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque: a serious violation of international law

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the incursion by a crowd of settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces and with the participation of ministers in the occupation government, in a serious violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued today, Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Kuwait’s categorical rejection of all provocative practices that undermine the legal and historical status quo in Jerusalem and its holy sites, renewing its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities to halt these violations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reiterated Kuwait’s firm and steadfast position supporting the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the fraternal Palestinian people, foremost among which is the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
