CENTCOM: We altered the course of 12 ships and disrupted others since the resumption of the naval blockade on Iran

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced today that it had altered the course of 12 commercial vessels and detained another since resuming the naval blockade against Iran nine days ago.

In a statement posted on its X account, CENTCOM clarified that these measures aim to prevent ships from entering or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas.
