'Agriculture Authority': Continuation of accepting applications for the issuance and renewal of grazing licenses and designated authorized locations
Legal action against violators after the grace period ends on October 1
The Kuwait Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fisheries confirmed on Thursday that it continues to receive requests from livestock breeders to issue and renew grazing permits, designate authorized sites across the country, and define approved geographical zones.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Authority explained that these measures are part of efforts to regulate grazing activities, thereby ensuring the protection of vegetation cover, promoting environmental sustainability, and preventing encroachments in wild areas.
The Authority reiterated the ongoing ban on grazing or approaching critical infrastructure, military zones, nature reserves, oil fields, pipeline routes, and residential areas, urging all breeders to fully comply with laws and regulations and to avoid prohibited sites.
