Kuwait: Continuation of Iran and its proxies' aggression constitutes a serious escalation and a direct threat to regional security

- We condemn the targeting of the Abdali border crossing by hostile drones, in a blatant violation of our sovereignty.

- We affirm our full right to self-defense and to take necessary measures to protect the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strongest condemnation and rejection of the continued malicious aggression launched by Iran and its proxies against the country, which today targeted the Abdali border crossing with several hostile drones. This constitutes a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and a serious breach of the rules of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.

The Ministry emphasized that the continuation of these overt and repeated attacks represents a serious escalation and a direct threat to regional security and stability, reflecting a systematic hostile approach that cannot be justified or accepted.
