Sultanate of Oman: We are cooperating with Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the United Nations to resume the political process in the region

Oman reaffirmed on Thursday the necessity of avoiding escalation and any threats that could worsen the situation and jeopardize freedom of navigation in the Red Sea region, noting its close monitoring of recent developments.

In a statement, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Sultanate “is currently working in coordination with its brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Yemeni parties, and the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, with the aim of resuming the political process and the roadmap to achieve security and stability in the region.”
