Al-Jahra and Al-Farwaniya: Approval of Housing for the Imam and the Muazzin, and Adoption of Plot Numbering in Al-Jaleeb and Al-Ruqa'i

The municipalities of Al-Jahra and Al-Farwaniya in the Municipal Council held their meetings yesterday. The Al-Jahra committee approved allocating a residential site for the imam and the muezzin, while the Al-Farwaniya committee approved numbering plots in the Jaleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Al-Raqi areas, alongside discussing several proposals on the agenda.

The Al-Jahra municipality committee held its eleventh meeting of the fourth session, chaired by Abdullah Al-Anzi, and approved the request from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to allocate a 300-square-meter residential site for the imam and the muezzin in Al-Jahra, plot number (93).

The committee also referred back to the executive body, to coordinate with relevant authorities and identify alternative locations, the proposal submitted by its chairman, Abdullah Al-Hudhal Al-Anzi, regarding the construction of two pedestrian bridges on the Al-Jahra Expressway (Route 80), one opposite the Qairawan area and the other in the Doha area. The committee also decided to uphold the Municipal Council’s decision regarding the ministries complex building in Al-Jahra governorate.

Plot Numbering

In its seventh meeting of the fourth session, chaired by Khaled Al-Mutairi, the Al-Farwaniya municipality committee approved the numbering of plots in the Jaleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Al-Raqi areas.

The committee also rejected a proposal submitted by a citizen via the “Tawasol” platform regarding the construction of a tunnel connecting the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak area to the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area.
