Traffic Department issues 3,000 violations and impounds 31 vehicles within 24 hours

The General Directorate of Traffic continued its field campaigns across the country’s various governorates. Over the past 24 hours, the efforts resulted in issuing approximately 3,000 traffic violations and impounding 31 vehicles, as part of its initiatives to enhance traffic discipline and enforce compliance.

A security source stated that the violations included using mobile phones while driving, failing to wear seat belts, truck-related infractions and towing regulations, speeding, noise pollution, window tinting, and various other traffic offenses.

The source emphasized that the General Directorate of Traffic is maintaining its monitoring campaigns in all governorates, with the aim of applying the law equally to everyone, promoting road safety, and reducing traffic violations.
