Saudi Cabinet Condemns Baseless Claims by Houthi Militias Regarding the Blockade of the Yemeni People

- The Kingdom reaffirms its solidarity and full support for Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan in their measures against the brazen Iranian aggression.

The Saudi Cabinet expressed its strongest condemnation of the baseless claims and false accusations by the Houthi terrorist militias, which lack any foundation, regarding the siege of the Yemeni people and the ban on maritime navigation. It also condemned their involvement in regional conflicts to advance their sinister agenda and objectives, which have contributed to deepening the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people and threatening regional security and stability.

This was stated by Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Acting Minister of Media, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, in a statement following the Cabinet meeting chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in Jeddah, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Cabinet reaffirmed in its statement the Kingdom’s continued support for the brotherly Yemeni people and its legitimate government, as well as its adoption of resolute measures to protect its security and vessels in accordance with international law and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

The Council also reiterated the Kingdom’s solidarity and full support for the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in their measures against the brazen Iranian aggression, which violates international law and the principles of good neighborliness.

It also emphasized the importance of the immediate cessation of all forms of military escalation to preserve the stability of the countries and peoples of the region.

On another note, the Council approved the unified rules for owners of joint real estate properties in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
