The Ministry of Electricity approves the training programs plan for the 2026/27 season

Proposal to install four substations to enhance "Al-Wafra Agricultural" development
The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy issued a circular regarding the training programs plan for the 2026-2027 training season, organized by the Civil Service Bureau, as part of efforts to support and develop the national workforce, enhance employee efficiency, and develop their skills to meet the requirements of government work.
The circular, issued by Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Planning, Training, and Information Systems Ali Shaban, clarified that the training programs are part of the Civil Service Bureau’s efforts to implement its annual plan for qualifying national cadres. It noted that the Ministry’s Administrative Development and Training Department presented the training plan in coordination with the Bureau via its website, enabling employees to review the programs and register in accordance with approved regulations.

The guide to programs and training workshops included numerous programs, including senior-level programs within the Ministry. These cover strategic leadership in project management, key performance indicators, media readiness for leaders and direct meetings, risk management, the future of government work, smart commands for artificial intelligence applications, and developing leadership skills for legal oversight.
The Ministry urged its various sectors to adhere to the conditions and mechanism for nomination to participate in the programs. This involves completing the nomination form with all required data and sending an official letter from the Administrative Development and Training Department via the (Workflow) system to complete registration procedures.
These programs aim to develop the functional capabilities of employees and enhance their professional and administrative efficiency, contributing to improving institutional performance levels and the quality of services provided. This aligns with the state’s direction of investing in human resources as the fundamental pillar for development and excellence in government work.
On another note, the Ministry recently added a contract to those listed in its plan for the current upcoming year. This contract involves issuing a tender for the installation and supply of four main high-pressure substations to develop the Al-Wafra agricultural farms, along with their feeders and accessories. This initiative aims to address the growing demand for energy, contribute to achieving the desired agricultural development in the country, and ensure uninterrupted electricity supply in the area.
The tender for the substations is scheduled to be issued through the Central Tenders Board in accordance with the regulations and frameworks governing competition among companies interested in participating in the tender.
