Trump: Iran will pay multiples for the killing of any American soldier

US President Donald Trump warned Iran on Monday of “severe consequences” for targeting American soldiers in the Middle East, days after two US soldiers were killed and others injured in Iranian attacks on Jordan.

Trump stated in a post on his platform, Truth Social, that “every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will pay a multiple-fold price for that killing.”

He noted that he had issued these directives to US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Daniel Caine, and all military commanders.
