The Acting Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, Captain Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti, confirmed that the company continues to operate all its direct flights normally according to approved schedules, firmly denying rumors circulating about the cancellation of any of its flights.
Al-Shatti clarified that the company rescheduled a number of flights originally planned for last Saturday, due to exceptional operational circumstances and the temporary suspension of takeoff and landing movements at Kuwait International Airport, thereby ensuring passenger safety and the continuity of operational processes.

He noted that various operational, technical, and administrative teams worked around the clock to reschedule affected flights and operate them as soon as possible, while ensuring that this did not impact the next day’s operational schedule. Flights proceeded according to their approved schedules without disruption, reflecting the company’s readiness and ability to manage various operational conditions.
He added that Kuwait Airways continues to monitor all developments related to air traffic in coordination with relevant authorities, implementing flexible operational plans that ensure the continuity of flights and adherence to the highest safety and security standards.
He emphasized that the company possesses the human and technical capabilities to respond swiftly to any developments, and is fully prepared to meet passengers’ needs and provide them with the best services, while maintaining the regularity of its direct flights.
Al-Shatti pointed out that the company succeeded during this period in rescheduling affected flights without resorting to canceling any flight, while continuing to provide services to passengers efficiently.
