'Ministry of Electricity': Technical fault cuts power to a limited part of Hawalli

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced on Sunday that two feeders at the main substation in the Hittin area (H) were taken out of service due to a technical fault.

The ministry stated in a press release that the fault caused a power outage in a limited part of Sections 2 and 4 in the area.

It confirmed that its emergency teams are on site and working to repair the fault and restore power as quickly as possible, commending the understanding and cooperation of citizens and residents.
