Gulf Bank Launches Marketing Campaign 'Show Off in Red'
For Red Plus Prepaid Cardholders
Offers include 20,000 welcome gift points upon issuance and an equivalent amount upon opening a salary account
As part of its ongoing support for youth, Gulf Bank launched the marketing campaign “Reveal in Red,” which provides young people with a wide range of benefits, offers, and discounts. These benefits begin when students transfer their academic allowances and issue the Red Plus prepaid card, and continue until graduation and the conversion of the Red account into a salary account. This allows the bank to give young people the opportunity to save, earn, enjoy daily gifts, and help them plan their financial future.
The campaign combines two of Gulf Bank’s award-winning international products: the Red account for youth, winner of the Best Product for Generation Z award at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026, and the Gulf Points program, winner of the Best Loyalty and Rewards Program award by the global “MEED” magazine. These two offerings provide young customers with opportunities to save, daily benefits, exclusive rewards, and financial planning tools.

According to the new offer, young people who transfer their academic allowances and issue a Red Plus card receive a free card for five years, along with 20,000 welcome points (equivalent to 60 Kuwaiti Dinars) within the Gulf Points program, the most rewarding program in Kuwait. They also receive a 10-Dinar voucher from “Trolley” and several exclusive offers at “Al Oula” and “Trolley.”
Customers who already have a Red account and issue a Red Plus prepaid card receive 5,000 welcome points, a 50% discount on the “Talabat” app every Monday, starting from August next year, as well as a 50% discount on two daily tickets at “Fox” and “Cinescape” cinemas.
The journey continues beyond graduation, as graduates receive 5,000 instant gift points upon receiving their graduation allowance, plus an additional 20,000 points when converting their Red account into a salary account and issuing a free credit card.
In connection with the launch of the “Reveal in Red” campaign, Gulf Bank’s sales team welcomed visitors at a dedicated booth at the Kheran Complex during last weekend’s holiday. The event embodied the spirit of youth through competitions, entertainment activities, a photo corner, and a sales area dedicated to introducing the bank’s products and services targeted at young people. Visitors also had the chance to enter a draw to win a red kayak. Alongside entertainment offers, Gulf Bank placed significant emphasis on financial awareness, dedicating part of its booth to educating the public about the risks of financial fraud, as part of its ongoing support for the “Let’s Be Aware” campaign.
As part of its continuous support for young Kuwaiti talent, Gulf Bank partnered with Kuwaiti designer Lama Al-Jalal for all campaign designs, which reflect Gulf Bank’s identity and the Kuwaiti community with an attractive youthful touch.
It is worth noting that the Red Plus card for youth joined the Gulf Points program at the end of last year, making it the most rewarding card in the Kuwaiti banking sector for young people, and reflecting the bank’s ongoing commitment to developing innovative banking products that meet the needs of the new generation.
Furthermore, the inclusion of the card in the Gulf Points program has changed the way young people spend daily. Cardholders earn five points for every dinar spent within Kuwait, and ten points for every dinar or its equivalent in foreign currencies when spending outside Kuwait, adding greater value to travel, shopping, and daily purchases worldwide.
