'Civil Defense': Control over two fires that broke out in different locations due to the reprehensible Iranian aggression

- Eight teams participated... Several firefighters and an oil sector worker were injured as a result of renewed attacks on one of the sites

- Three other fires caused by shrapnel falling in residential areas were extinguished without any injuries

The official spokesperson for the General Fireforce, Brigadier General Mohammed Bader Ibrahim, announced that firefighting teams managed to gain control over two fires that broke out in two different locations in the country on Saturday afternoon, following targeted attacks as part of the hostile aggression stemming from Iran’s unjustified assault on the country.

Brigadier General Ibrahim noted, in a press statement, that five firefighting teams were deployed to the first site, supported by teams from the oil sector’s firefighting units, while three firefighting teams were dispatched to the second site.

He clarified that firefighting teams immediately began suppression and control operations upon arrival. He pointed out that the incident at the first site resulted in injuries to several firefighters and one oil sector worker, due to renewed attacks on the site during firefighting efforts.

He added that first aid was administered to the injured, who were then transferred to medical emergency services before being moved to hospitals for treatment.

Brigadier General Mohammed Ibrahim stated that the General Fireforce also responded to three separate fires ignited by shrapnel falling in several residential areas, successfully controlling and extinguishing them. The damage was limited to property, with no injuries reported.
