Qatar condemns renewed Iranian attacks on its territory and those of Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan
Tehran assumes full legal responsibility and affirms its right to respond in accordance with international law
The State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the renewed Iranian attacks on its territory, as well as on the territories of Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain, deeming them a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the targeted states, and a flagrant breach of international law, the UN Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.
In a statement issued on Friday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the continuation of these attacks constitutes a serious escalation that would complicate efforts to contain tensions and undermine political and diplomatic initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability in the region. It held Iran fully legally responsible for these attacks and their ensuing repercussions and consequences.
