Qatar Interior Ministry: Child injured by shrapnel from intercepting Iranian attack

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior confirmed on Friday that security authorities and civil defense teams have initiated their operations in accordance with approved response plans, following the Iranian attack that targeted the country earlier that morning.

In a press statement, the ministry said that incoming reports and field results indicated that a child was injured by shrapnel resulting from interception operations, noting that the child is receiving the necessary medical care.

The ministry stressed the importance of obtaining information exclusively from official sources and refraining from circulating rumors or disseminating any unverified information, images, or videos, to avoid legal repercussions.

It further affirmed that the relevant security authorities continue their work around the clock with full readiness, thereby enhancing response speed and ensuring the preservation of community security and safety, as well as the uninterrupted provision of services.
