'Dubai Government': No validity to Reuters report on explosions in the city center

The Media Office of the Dubai Government denied the accuracy of Reuters’ report claiming that explosions were heard in the city center, affirming that the information in the report was incorrect.

In a statement posted on its X (formerly Twitter) account, the Media Office called on media outlets and the public to obtain news from official and reliable sources, verify their accuracy before publishing or sharing them, and avoid spreading rumors and erroneous journalistic reports.

The Media Office of the Dubai Government emphasized that appropriate measures would be taken against media institutions that publish inaccurate news or information concerning the Emirate of Dubai, in accordance with the laws and regulatory frameworks in effect in the Emirate and the United Arab Emirates.
