Electricity cut off to 102 illegal properties in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh

Al-Siyasa learned that the judicial police team at the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy cut off electricity supply to 102 properties violating the laws and regulations governing electricity connections, as part of its participation in the expanded security campaign carried out in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area.

Sources confirmed that the ministry, represented by the judicial police team, is keen to participate in all field campaigns in cooperation and coordination with relevant authorities, as part of efforts to combat encroachments on the ministry’s facilities, particularly the electricity and water networks, and to monitor violations related to electricity connections.

It was clarified that these measures contribute to reducing the load on the electricity grid and protecting the ministry’s facilities, especially during the summer season, which witnesses a rise in electricity and water consumption rates.
