Local delegations, diplomats, and public figures on the final day of condolences for the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Kuwait concluded its reception for mourners on the passing of the late Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, today. A number of high-ranking state officials, heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of international organizations accredited in Kuwait, as well as businessmen and public figures, attended the embassy premises to pay their condolences.

Mourners expressed their sincere condolences to the leadership and people of Qatar, recalling the late Emir’s illustrious career and the achievements he made, which contributed to the development of Qatar and enhanced its regional and international standing.

Attendees praised the prominent role played by the late Emir in supporting the progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), strengthening Gulf cooperation ties, as well as his Arab and international contributions in the fields of development, economy, education, and diplomacy, affirming that his legacy will remain present in the journey of Qatar and the entire region.
