Kuwait Airways launched, today, Wednesday, July 15, 2026, its first scheduled direct flights to the city of Damascus in the Syrian Arab Republic, operating one flight daily, as part of its strategy to develop its regional and international destination network and meet the growing demand for travel, thereby providing passengers with greater flexibility and diverse travel options.

On this occasion, the Acting CEO of Kuwait Airways, Captain Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti, confirmed that the launch of direct flights to Damascus is an extension of the company’s expansion plan, which aims to strengthen its destination network and provide services that meet customer expectations, keeping pace with the continuous growth in travel flows to and from the State of Kuwait.
