Diwan Minister: His Highness was affected by the death of Sheikh Hamad; Kuwait and Qatar are one people and one family
He affirmed that relations between the two countries are based on a solid history.
The Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, paid his condolences to the Qatari Ambassador to Kuwait, conveying the condolences of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Sheikh Hamad Al-Ali emphasized that His Highness the Amir was deeply affected by the news of the death, expressing profound sorrow and sincere condolences for this loss. He also conveyed the Crown Prince’s condolences to the Qatari leadership and the brotherly Qatari people, praying to God Almighty to grant the deceased His abundant mercy and to inspire his family with patience and solace.
The Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs stressed the deep fraternal bonds uniting Kuwait and Qatar, affirming that relations between the two countries are rooted in a solid history of love and cohesion. He stated, “Kuwait and Qatar are one people and one family,” a remark reflecting the strength of fraternal relations and shared destiny between the two brotherly peoples.
He added that such humanitarian gestures embody the depth of Gulf solidarity and reinforce the values of brotherhood and unity that bind the Gulf Cooperation Council states. He affirmed that Kuwait stands alongside its sister state, Qatar, in this loss, sharing with its leadership and people feelings of sorrow and prayers for the deceased’s mercy and forgiveness.
