Kuwait Condemns the Blatant Iranian Aggression Targeting It This Evening
A blatant violation of sovereignty and a serious threat to the security and safety of citizens and residents
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and strongest denunciation of the culpable Iranian aggression that targeted the country this evening, resulting in injuries to several members of the armed forces and causing material damage.
In a press statement, the Ministry reaffirmed that the continuation of this culpable Iranian aggression constitutes a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait, a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents, and a blatant challenge to international legitimacy and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026. It also reflects an insistence on continuing an aggressive approach and an irresponsible undermining of regional and international efforts aimed at achieving the security and stability of the region.
The Ministry emphasized the State of Kuwait’s inherent right to take whatever measures it deems appropriate to safeguard its sovereignty and preserve its security and stability, in accordance with the provisions of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
