US Army: We have begun an additional round of strikes on Iran

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced today the start of an additional round of strikes against Iran, aimed at further undermining Iranian capabilities used to target commercial shipping navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement on the X platform, CENTCOM said the strikes coincide with U.S. forces’ preparations to resume a naval blockade on Iranian ports and coastal areas, with the blockade set to take effect at 4 p.m. Eastern Time.
