Some moments from the 2026 FIFA World Cup are transitioning from fleeting memories to rare collectibles, as the American auction house Christie’s prepares to offer a selection of the tournament’s most prominent memorabilia in an online auction, including a ball from the final match and outfits worn by artists performing at the halftime show, according to Agence France-Presse.
The online auction begins on July 22 and will run for a week, with proceeds dedicated to the “FIFA Global Citizen Education” fund, an initiative aiming to raise $100 million to support children worldwide during the World Cup period.

Among the standout items on offer is the yellow short-sleeved shirt and pants worn by Colombian singer Shakira in the music video for “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 World Cup.
Also up for sale is the outfit Shakira will wear during her performance at the first musical halftime show held during the break of the World Cup final. The 11-minute performance will also feature Madonna, Justin Bieber, and the group BTS.
The auction includes several footballs, among them a ball from the final match scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and another from the opening match held in Mexico last month.
Other items include the 2022 Argentina national team jersey signed by star Lionel Messi, alongside the US national team jersey signed by its players.
