With hearts steadfast in faith in God’s decree and destiny, we received the news of the passing of the founding Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who left a prominent mark on the history of modern Qatar and contributed to its journey of progress and development, until it became a model recognized for its presence and influence at both the regional and international levels.

The late leader was a visionary who believed that true investment lies in human capital, in education, health, development, and institution-building.

During his reign, Qatar witnessed transformative advances across various sectors, consolidating its standing among nations and strengthening its presence in the fields of politics, economy, media, sports, and culture.

Among the most notable achievements of his tenure was the smooth transfer of authority to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a move that reflected wisdom and foresight, contributed to the continuity of the nation’s construction and development, and set a distinguished example of responsibility and future-oriented leadership.
