Trump: I will address the nation on Thursday evening

US President Donald Trump announced via his “Truth Social” platform today that he will address the nation on Thursday evening.

Later, President Trump stated that the United States would launch powerful strikes against Iran tonight and tomorrow, confirming that Iran’s nuclear facilities, including those located under Mount Alvares and beneath other mountains, are potential targets for attacks.

Trump added that the memorandum of understanding with Iran had served as a test, but Tehran failed to comply, noting that there had been a 100 percent agreement between the two sides until the previous day, before the Iranian delegation suddenly withdrew after receiving a phone call.

He affirmed that Iran does not possess a nuclear weapon, and that the United States is monitoring all its movements through space forces and other intelligence means, considering that Tehran lacks a significant air or naval force and that what it produces is merely “empty talk.”

Trump pointed out that the United States had toppled the “first regime” and then the “second regime,” and subsequently eliminated about 25 percent of the elements of the current regime, adding that Iranian officials differ in their thinking and that he believes the Iranian regime is “not entirely sane.”

He stressed that if Iran possessed a nuclear weapon, it would have used it within a day, asserting that Washington will not allow it to acquire such capability.
