- First two surgeries successfully performed... Advanced treatment options for patients

Adan Hospital, under the Ministry of Health, launched today, Monday, a knee replacement surgery program under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Harbi, Head of the Orthopedic Surgery Department, as part of the continued development of orthopedic surgery services and the expansion of specialized surgeries at the hospital.

The Ministry of Health stated in a press release that the program witnessed the successful performance of the first two knee replacement surgeries, with two additional surgeries to be completed, enhancing the hospital’s readiness to provide this type of specialized surgery and offering advanced treatment options to patients according to the latest medical practices.

It added that the medical team successfully performed specialized surgeries for hip and ankle joint replacements, an achievement reflecting the competence of medical staff and the advanced capabilities provided by the hospital, and confirming its ability to deliver specialized surgical services according to the highest quality standards.

It clarified that the Orthopedic Surgery Department has completed approximately 200 knee joint surgery cases so far, including joint replacements, deformity repairs, and sports injury treatments, as part of a continuous development plan through the application of the latest technologies and medical practices, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare.
