Kuwait Airways announced signing a strategic partnership with “Tali” for deferred payment, to provide a service that allows travelers to split the value of travel tickets into four equal installments without additional fees or profits, effective from August 1 next year.
Under the agreement, “Kuwait Airways” customers will be able to benefit from the deferred payment service when purchasing travel tickets, in addition to the ability to purchase “Oasis Club” miles and utilize “Kuwait Airways Holidays” services for hotel bookings and other accompanying services.

The service will be available in its first phase through Kuwait Airways sales offices and the call center (171), and will later be provided via the company’s website and official application in the second phase.
Acting CEO of Kuwait Airways, Captain Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti, confirmed that the partnership comes within the framework of the company’s strategy aimed at enhancing digital transformation and developing customer experience, by offering innovative solutions and flexible, secure payment options that keep pace with the latest developments in the air transport sector.
He added that the deferred payment service represents a qualitative addition to the electronic services system provided by the company, contributing to facilitating booking procedures and offering more diverse payment options, in line with global best practices, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.
He noted that “Kuwait Airways” continues to build strategic partnerships with companies specializing in financial solutions and digital technologies, in support of its plans to develop its electronic services and consolidate its position as a national carrier that keeps pace with the latest innovations.
For his part, Badr Khaled Al-Badr, Co-founder and CEO of “Tali,” said the company is proud of this partnership with Kuwait Airways, which allows travelers of the national carrier to split the value of travel tickets into four equal installments without fees or profits. He emphasized that the agreement represents an important milestone in the company’s journey toward expanding its services and providing flexible digital financial solutions that meet customer needs.
He added that “Tali” was the first Kuwaiti company in the deferred payment sector to join the Central Bank of Kuwait’s regulatory sandbox in 2022, prior to obtaining its official license from the bank in 2025, reflecting its commitment to compliance and governance standards and providing reliable financial services that comply with the regulations and instructions in force in the State of Kuwait.
Kuwait Airways confirmed that this partnership reflects its keenness to adopt the latest digital solutions and enter into strategic partnerships with leading national companies, thereby enhancing the quality of its services and elevating the customer experience.
