The face does not lie
The hallmark of proficiency in reading body language lies in mastering the reading of the face, with a thorough understanding of all its details and subtle movements. If the body lies, the face never does, even if its owner possesses iron will—at least to the experienced physiognomist, and especially to one with a keen eye for observation.
Those who base their readings of human faces on theories grounded in the results of rigorous scientific and research studies, rather than mere conjecture and guesswork, can rely on the following facial indicators that cannot be falsified:
- Love and Affection: The face of a lover does not lie, nor does the face of someone who genuinely cares for you. These loving and affectionate faces do not display forced or fake smiles. All you need to do is observe the contraction of the upper part of the cheeks of those who love and care for you, along with the naturalness accompanying their reactions toward you, and the openness of their faces when facing those they truly love and cherish.
- The Face of Hatred: Hatred is a deep, perhaps deeply rooted, feeling of aversion toward another person, and its signs must inevitably appear on the face. Particularly, the hater exerts considerable physical and psychological effort to conceal their hatred for the other, whether for reasons of propriety or social etiquette. However, a portion of this inner hatred leaks through to the face, and the perceptive individual can understand from these nearly inescapable cues.
- The Fearful Face: An individual may attempt to control their trembling lips due to intense fear, and they might even succeed. However, an experienced physiognomist detects subtle signs of hidden fear, such as pallor, dilated pupils, dry lips, a startled stare, and speech stammering—a temporary disruption in speech caused by severe psychological pressure.
- The Manipulator’s Face: The most prominent facial signs of someone harboring manipulative intentions toward another person generally fall into two specific behaviors: either they struggle to avoid allowing the victim to look directly at their face, or they stare intently at the other person’s face in a conspicuous manner, naturally aiming to determine whether they have successfully influenced the other’s thoughts or emotions.
