46 million dinars cost of 14 contracts for 'Electricity' before 'Accountability'

Al-Siyasa learned that the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has 14 contracts, valued at 46 million dinars, pending review by the Court of Audit awaiting approval to award them to the companies selected through the Central Tenders Committee, in accordance with applicable regulations and laws.

The ministry had referred the 14 contracts to the Court at various times for review and audit to ensure the integrity and validity of the procedures, in line with the pre-award oversight of contracts.
