US Treasury imposes new sanctions on 8 individuals and 6 companies linked to Iran

The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced on Friday the imposition of a new package of sanctions targeting eight individuals and six companies linked to Iran, as part of Washington’s continued efforts to tighten measures against entities associated with Tehran.

This move comes within a series of ongoing U.S. sanctions aimed at individuals and companies accused by Washington of supporting activities related to Iran or working on its behalf.
