Trump: Iran asked us to continue talks... and we agreed, but clarified that the ceasefire has ended

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Iran had requested to continue talks, noting that the United States had agreed, but made it unequivocally clear to them that the ceasefire had ended.

Trump stated in a post on his Truth Social account: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has asked us to continue talks.”

He added: “We agreed, but the United States informed them, in a clear and unequivocal manner, that the ceasefire has ended.”
