The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) announced the organization of the “Employment Pathways” forum in collaboration with the Public Authority for Manpower on November 24 and 25, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships between government entities and the private sector, intensify initiatives aimed at empowering Kuwaiti youth, and open new avenues for their participation in the labor market.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, PAAET noted that the forum reflects both parties’ commitment to building direct communication bridges between educational and training institutions and labor market entities, and to aligning the outputs of education and training with the private sector’s needs for national specialties, skills, and competencies. This alignment aims to support employment opportunities for Kuwaiti youth and enhance their contribution to economic development.
The forum, to be held at the Central Library located at PAAET’s headquarters in Shuwaikh, aims to provide a national platform that brings together private sector companies and institutions with students, graduates, and job seekers. It will enable participating entities to showcase available employment and training opportunities, receive resumes, and conduct direct job interviews, thereby enhancing the recruitment and actual employment of national talents.
PAAET emphasized that this partnership represents a significant step toward strengthening integration among the education, training, and employment systems, and consolidating the role of the private sector as a key partner in attracting national talents and providing genuine job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth.
The authority called on private sector companies and institutions to actively participate in the forum and contribute to achieving its objectives by offering employment opportunities, thereby fostering sustainable partnerships and supporting the building of promising professional futures for national talents.
