Saudi Civil Defense announced on Saturday evening that the threat had passed in the Jazan region in the southwest of the Kingdom, following the issuance of a warning alert.
The National Early Warning Platform for Emergency Situations issued a warning alert in Abha and Khamis Mushait, urging residents and visitors to comply with official instructions, seek shelter in the nearest safe location indoors, and stay away from windows, open areas, and hazardous zones.
The platform emphasized that people should not go outside until the threat has fully subsided, and advised against gathering or taking photographs, while stressing the importance of following directives issued by competent authorities through official channels.
