Sending images and videos in original quality.. New feature being tested on WhatsApp - Sarmad

WhatsApp is testing a new feature that allows users to send photos and videos in their original quality, without needing to adjust quality settings separately, in a move aimed at simplifying media sharing and preserving accuracy.

According to WABetaInfo, a website specializing in tracking app updates, the feature is under development and enables users to select photo and video quality directly through the app’s built-in graphics editor, giving users greater control over content quality before sending.

According to the site, the feature is expected to be available to WhatsApp Plus subscribers, as part of a range of additional features the app offers to paid subscription users.

The feature remains in the testing phase, and WhatsApp has not announced an official launch date, nor clarified whether it will eventually be available to all users, pending test results and further details on its scope of use.
