The White House posted a message on the X platform following the Republican Party’s heavy losses in the midterm elections, stating, “Trump is still your president,” which quickly sparked sarcastic reactions.
The White House accompanied the message with a photo of President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, his expression appearing defiant, with furrowed brows and clenched fists.
The post drew mocking comments.
Democratic candidates for the midterm elections swept seats in states that are traditionally Republican strongholds, largely taking control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
