As negotiations continue between Washington and Tehran through mediators in Doha, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that consultations ongoing via Qatari and Pakistani channels are proceeding intensively.

Araghchi said that if the United States accepts Iran’s conditions, it would lead to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the resumption of negotiations, according to the IRNA news agency.

Earlier today, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei indicated the possibility of reaching an agreement in the coming days, clarifying that “the foundation of diplomacy with America is based on Iran’s seven-step proposal.”

He added, “The proposal has been streamlined, and its implementation is now feasible within two days.”

However, he accused Washington of seeking to derail any diplomatic track. He said, “Washington has so far proven that it is working to sabotage any diplomatic process.”

He further noted that his country had clearly presented its demands, considering that “the ball is now in Washington’s court.” He confirmed that message exchanges between the American and Iranian sides are continuing through intermediaries, revealing that Deputy Foreign Minister Gholamreza Arabbashi visited Doha to facilitate this, and called on the United States to make its decision.

These remarks came after meetings held in Doha on Saturday and Sunday, following Iranian-Qatari talks in Tehran.

The statements also emerged amid reports and rumors that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is urging the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to resume strikes on Iran as soon as possible, even potentially the day after the midterm elections scheduled for November 3.

Meanwhile, Trump stated that negotiations are progressing well, while simultaneously hinting at the possibility of carrying out strong and rapid strikes.
