Jordanian King Abdullah II affirmed that his country will not allow Kharijite terrorists to threaten the security and unity of the nation, stressing that such terrorists do not belong to Jordan and have betrayed it.
Delivering the Throne Speech at the opening of the third ordinary session of the National Assembly, King Abdullah II emphasized that Jordan will remain impervious to its enemies, adding, “We cling to our Arab identity and our stance of uniting the Arab people, and we rely on the awareness of Jordanians when paths become obscured.”
He pointed out that Israel’s expansionist ambitions pose the greatest threat to the region’s future and aspirations, noting that there can be no security and stability in the region without fulfilling the Palestinian people’s right to their land, and highlighting that despite calls to halt Israeli violations, the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza continues.
