Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei said that Tehran has clearly outlined its demands to mediators, considering that the ball is now in the court of the United States.
During a press conference, the foreign ministry spokesperson noted that talks with Washington are ongoing and that the issue is complex, adding that Iran takes into account that the United States had previously attacked them during negotiations.
Baghaei stressed that the Strait of Hormuz cannot be reopened until the US sanctions imposed on Iran are lifted.
