The Meteorology Department forecast that Monday’s weather will be hot and humid, particularly in coastal areas, with partly to mostly cloudy skies during the day. Winds will be southeasterly to variable, light to moderate in speed, occasionally strengthening to 10–40 km/h, with a chance of scattered showers that may be thunderstorm activity later in the day, and a possibility of light fog forming in the evening.
Overnight, the weather will be mild and humid, especially in coastal regions, with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be southeasterly to variable, light to moderate in speed, occasionally strengthening to 8–38 km/h, with a chance of scattered showers that may occasionally be thunderstorm activity, and a possibility of light fog forming in some areas.
The Meteorology Department stated that the expected temperatures will reach a high of 35°C and a low of 27°C.
It added that during the day, sea conditions will be light to moderate with wave heights of 2–5 feet, and overnight, conditions will remain light to moderate with wave heights of 1–5 feet.
