The Directorate of Security for Al-Ahmadi Governorate, under the Ministry of Interior, has seized a vehicle used for reckless and dangerous driving in the Ali Sabah Al-Salem area, as part of ongoing security efforts to protect road users and combat serious traffic violations.
The Ministry of Interior stated that the seizure resulted from surveillance and field monitoring carried out by the Vehicle Traffic Management Section of the Operations and Patrols Department. The vehicle was identified after its driver appeared in a viral video circulating on social media platforms, showing him engaging in reckless and dangerous behavior.
It added that the vehicle was impounded and referred to the Ali Sabah Al-Salem police station, and a case was filed against its owner for endangering the lives of others. The vehicle was then stored in an impound lot.
The Ministry noted that the General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Security Control Department, successfully tracked down and apprehended the driver, took legal action against him, and referred him to the Central Prison. The vehicle was also crushed.
The Ministry of Interior emphasized its continued efforts to monitor and seize vehicles involved in reckless and dangerous driving, and to apply the law firmly against anyone who endangers the lives of others, in order to safeguard the security and safety of all road users.
